Congratulations to our Community Kickstart Grant recipient – Northwest Community Group Inc
We’re absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news! We’re pleased to announce that Northwest Community Group Inc. has been chosen as the well-deserved recipient of the 2025 ISPT Community Kickstart Grant! They’ll be receiving a $10,000 grant to help them continue their incredibly important work right here in the community.
Northwest Community Group Inc. (NWCG) has a clear and confident mission: to ensure no one in Brisbane and Moreton Bay is left without food, shelter, or dignity. They provide immediate relief through meals, tents, and essential support, guided by their motto, “no judgement, only love.”
With the Community Kickstart Grant, we will be able to launch their “Safe Sleep & Wellbeing Project,” a vital initiative distributing tents and essential support packs to at least 300 individuals experiencing homelessness across Moreton Bay over the next 12 months. This project is more than just providing shelter; it’s a crucial health intervention that offers immediate protection from harsh weather, reduces preventable illness, and restores dignity, ultimately linking individuals to long-term health, housing, and support services.
