Mango Hill Marketplace is once again recognising International Women’s Day by highlighting the invaluable contribution of inspiring women in our community. This year we are shining the spotlight on even more amazing, inclusive women in our community. From ‘Next Generation’ to ‘Community Legend’, from ‘Eco Warrior’ to ‘Champion of Women’, ‘Community Builder’, to ‘Guru of Growth’.

Teens Christmas Canvas – Painting the Season Bright!

Mango Hill Marketplace have partnered with our local students from The Y Vocational School to gift our community with a li’l Christmas cheer! Students have spent the month of November planning and decorating canvases supplied by us, to reflect 3 key themes: Community, Mango Hill & Christmas.

16 Days of Activism

Mango Hill Marketplace is proud to partner with Zonta to help build a better world for women and girls. This year, we have expanded our support by featuring a gigantic orange mural on our Community Wall to help bring awareness to this vital cause, as well as the tireless efforts of our local Zonta volunteers.The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is a global campaign led by UN Women. The campaign kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

Seniors Month – Connect Fest!

Seniors Month is a celebration and recognition of our seniors and their contribution to our community. It is an extra special time of the year. An opportunity to strengthen social connections by providing interactive events that include both the young and the ‘young at heart’. This year Mango Hill Marketplace in conjunction with YMCA Vocational School, hosted a special morning tea at the Coffee Club. Hospitality students from the YMCA demonstrated their skills serving tea & delicious delights to local seniors.

May is Domestic Violence Month

Each May, Queensland marks Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month (DFVP Month) to raise community awareness of domestic and family violence (DFV) and to send a clear message that DFV in families and homes will not be tolerated. Mango Hill Marketplace are proud to partner with our local Zonta Club to help bring awareness to this important social issue.

Mango Hill’s Woman of the Year

Autism Behavioural Intervention Queensland (ABIQ)

Mango Hill Progress Association

The Mango Hill Progress Association is a non-for-profit lobby group that has been advocating for the residents of Mango Hill and North Lakes since 1986. The organisation works with government, the local council and other community groups to improve the quality of life, through infrastructure and local issues. The Lakes Anglican Church

The Lakes Anglican Church is a place where where everyday people can come together to form a healthy loving community. The church creates opportunities for all individuals to connect and collaborate throughout the year. One of their big projects is the pantry which was created for locals in North Lakes, Mango Hill and surrounding communities to bring hope, extend friendship, and build community. SEQ Wheelchair Rugby League

Music Box

Sweet Peanuts
